These refillable journals are made of certified genuine Italian leather and tanned exclusively with natural tannins extracted from plants.  The internal pad is created with acid-free paper made by hand by the Fabriano Paper Masters, using a slow and laborious process, one similar to that used by their ancestors seven hundred years ago.
